Mr. Sellathurai Ponrasa, who was born in Naranthanai North, Kayts, Jaffna, and lived in Vaddu East, Vaddukoddai, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Wednesday, 13 January 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sellathurai and Ponnammah,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kanagasabai and Sivapackiyam,
Beloved husband of the late Ratnadevi,
Kind and Loving brother of the late Rajadurai and Sakuntalaiammah, and also of Saraswathyammah,
Subramaniam (Thangarajah; Canada) and Ekanayakiammah,
Loving brother in law of the late Kathiravelpillai and Balasundaram, and also of Selvapackiyam (UK), Logeswary (Canada) and the late Gopalasingam,
Loving uncle (Mama) of Kathirgamanathan, Jeganathan (deceased), Manoranjithan, Thavathalaivi (Swiss), Kalaichelvi, Thiruchelvi, Suganya (UK), Guruparan (Canada), Dhushyanthi (UK), Muhunthan (deceased), Dharshini (Canada), Chandravathani (UK), Pathmini (Teacher, J/ Velanai East Maha Vidyalayam) and Karunaharan (Samurthi Officer, Regional Office, Kayts),
Ever loving father (Appah) of Sivasaky (Rasathi; UK), Sivakumaran (Canada), Thirukumaran (deceased), Selvakumaran (France), Poongothai (Canada) and Sivasakthy (Canada).
His Funeral and Final Rites functions will be conducted at his brother’s residence in Vaddu West, Vaddukoddai, on Thursday, 14 January 2021 at around 08:00 AM followed by Cremation at the Navaly Valukaiaru Hindu Cemetery.
