Mr. Sellathurai Sannithivel
Date of Birth: 22 June 1946 - Deceased: 03 January 2021
Mr. Sellathurai Sannithivel, who was born in Idaikadu, Atchuvely, Jaffna and moved to Alvai, and lived in Ethiopia, Nigeria and Canada passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Monday, 03 January 2021.
He functioned as a Teacher at the J/ Puttur Somaskanda College, Nelliady Maha Vidyalayam, and later in Ethiopia and Nigeria. In Canada, he functioned as the Coordinator and Teacher at the Tamil Cultural Vocational and Technical School.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sellathurai and Nagarathinam,
Loving son in law of Mr. and Mrs. Thadchanamoorthy and Rasammah,
Beloved husband of Rajeswary,
Ever loving father of Sharmini,
Loving father in law of Kandeepan,
Affectionate grandfather of Yadav and Vishwa,
Kind and loving brother of Siveswary, Sivamangalavathy, Sivamalar, Nadarajapathy, Sivayogarani, Sivamanohari, Sivayogeswary, the late Kathirgama Sundaralingam, Sundaravel, Sivapackiyavathy and Sivasothymathy,
Loving brother in law of Rajaratnam, Uthayanayaki, Sothimurugesu, Sivaranjini, Sritharan, Sivapalan, Ganeshalingam, Sugirtharani, Subhashini, the late Ponnammah, Thuraisingam, Sithamparanathan and Shanmugabharathy,
Loving brother in law (Sahalan) of Manoharan Arulrajan.
Since the funeral and final rites functions have to be conducted as per the Canadian government’s Covid -19 guidelines, these functions will be conducted with Family Members only.
However, these functions can be viewed through ‘Live Streaming’, and the details of the Streaming will be provided later.
