Mr. Sellathurai Thanikasalam, who was born in Selvanayagam Road, Velanai East, Jaffna and lived along Station Road, Wellawatte, Colombo, passed away peacefully in Colombo, and was embraced by God on Thursday, 08 July 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. K. S. Sellathurai and Kanagammah of Velanai East,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. Rajasekaram and Mrs. Poomani of Colombo,
Beloved husband of Kalpanadevi,
Ever loving father of Sugeethan, Ahalya, Inthuja and Anothan,
Kind and Loving brother of Chandravathy, Indravathy, Thaneswaran, Jegatheeswaran, Theivendran, Gnanendran, Ravindran, Kulendran, Vanaja and Uthaya,
Loving brother in law of Uthayakumar, Vigneswararajah (deceased), Geetha, Theivakala, Kalaivani, Kowshalya, Shanthi, Suthamathi, Kuganesan and Manoranjan,
Also, the loving brother in law of the Vijayasegaram (deceased), Jeevarani, the late Ravichandran and Sithirananthan, and also of Uthayanath,
Caring brother in law (Sahalan) of Rasiah and Uthayachandrika.
His remains will lie in state for viewing on Sunday, 11 July 2021 from around 8:00 AM at the Galkissa Mahinda Parlour, 2 nd Floor, then funeral and final rites functions conducted at around 02:00 PM, followed by Cremation at around 05:00 PM at the Galkissa General Cemetery.
