Mr. Chelliah Kanagasabapathy, who was born in Pungudutheevu, Ward No. 4, Jaffna and lived in Wellawatte, Colombo, passed away in Wellawatte, and was embraced by God on Sunday, September 20, 2020.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chelliah and Sinnapillai,
Loving son in law of Mr. and Mrs. Sinnathamby and Ponnammah,
Beloved husband of the late Saraswathy,
Ever loving father of Saratha (Germany), Chandra (Germany), Vasiddan (France), Chitra (Canada), Subathra (France), the late Janakan, and Barathan (France),
Loving father in law of Sundararajah (Germany), Karunaharamoorthy (Germany), Nalayini (France), Sothithasan (Canada), Umakanthan (France) and Kalaiarasi (France),
Kind and loving brother of the late Namasivayam, Manonmani, Mahadevan, Thanalakshmi,
Seethalakshmi (Teacher), and also of Thanabalasingam (Principal; Canada) and Kamaleswary (India),
Loving brother in law of the late Kanagammah, Nalliah, Satkunarani, and also of Maheswary (Canada), Arumugam (France), Balasundaram (India), Visahaperumal (Canada), Packiyalakshmi (Germany), the late Gnaneswary, and Thavamany (Colombo),
Affectionate grandfather of Sutharshan, Sahana, Mayuran, Ilakiya, Inthujan, Inthuja, Vithusha, Abhitha, Akash, Kapilan, Jelicia, Sajitha, Adsha, Arish, Atharvan, Arushan, Aarana and Abharna.
His remains will be kept for viewing at the Jayaratne Parlour in Borella, on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from around 8:00 AM, followed by Cremation at around 1:30 PM at theKanatte Hindu Cemetery in Borella.
