He is the beloved son of the late Poothathamby Karthigesu and Atchimuthu of Sirupiddy.
Beloved husband of Jeyalakshmi of Udupiddy.
Loving son in law of the late Chelliah and Rasammah.
Ever loving father of Subhangi (Canada), Sutharshan (UK) and Surendran (Canada).
Loving father in law of Thayaparan, Uma and Shankari.
Affectionate grandfather of Shubaniya, Sarujan, Kiran, Kyle, Nethra, Hanish and Harry.
Kind and loving brother of Saraswathy, Thilagavathy, and the late Rajaratnam, Masilamani, Pavalamani, Arulampalam and Arasaratnam.
Loving brother in law (Sahalan) of Gnanapoopathy, Sivakolunthu, Ratnasingam, and the late Yogammah, Thillainathan, Kasipillai and Thanapalan.
Also, the loving brother in law of Rajaratnam, Sriganesharajah, and the late Selvarajah, Saraswathydevi, Sivarajah, Shanmugarajah, Srikrishnarajah, Mahendrarajah, Kugendrarajah and Manimekalai.
