Mr. Shanmugampillai Ketharanathan, who was born in Mudipillaiyar Kovilady, Ward No. 8, Velanai West, Jaffna, and lived in Tiruchi, India, passed away and was embraced by God on Sunday, 27 December 2020.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Shanmugampillai and Karunainayaki,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thiyagarajah and Rajalakshmi,
Beloved husband of Thilagavathy,
Ever loving father of Kasthani (France), Nilani (Sri Lanka) and Gurutharan (India),
Loving father in law of Gajavathanan (France) and Gangatharan (France),
Kind and loving brother of Pushpakanthi (deceased), Sathiyanathan (Sri Lanka), Sornalakshmi India) and Sornakanthi (Sri Lanka),
Loving brother in law of Somasundaram (deceased), Ratnambigai (Sri Lanka), Rasalngam (India),
Sivarajah (Sri Lanka), Sivanandasothy (deceased) and Kalavalli (Sri Lanka),
Also the loving brother in law (Sahalan) of Arulnathan and Thanalakshmi,
Loving ‘in-law’ by marriage (Sammanthy) of the late Somasundaram, Pushpakanthy and Kanagasabai, and also of Nesaratnam (Sri Lanka),
Affectionate grandfather of Kanusthan and Innuyan.
His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at his residence on Monday, 28 December 2020 at around 11:00 AM followed by Cremation at the Tiruchi Oyamari Hindu Cemetery.
