Date of Birth: 03 April 1932 - Deceased: 23 February 2021
Mrs. Shanmugathevi Seevaratnam, who was born in Kokuvil West, Jaffna, and lived in Colombo, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Tuesday, 23 February 2021.
She is the beloved only daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nadarajah and Packiyam (Rasamani),
Loving daughter in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Appathurai and Rasammah,
Beloved wife of the late Mr. Seevaratnam,
Ever loving mother of Sivasakthy, Muhunthan, Ramanaharan and Arunan,
Loving mother in law of Paramalingam, Suganthi, Sivarahini and Sivakumari (Manju),
Kind and loving sister in law of Muthulingam, Kamalaranjini, Balasaraswathy, Vivekanandarajah,
Kamaleswary, the late Thanabalasingam, Logeswary, Rajalakshmi, Rajaratnam, Kunabalasingam
and Sundaralingam,
Affectionate grandmother of Vaikunthan, Emily, Hamsathvani, Vinay, Vinayagan, Dylara, Harini,
Narayani, Shobini, Ramsaron, Rmaneeshan, Swashini and Vathsan,
Dearly loving great grandmother of Neil and Alaya.
Her funeral and final rites functions will be conducted on Wednesday, 24 February 2021 at around 11:00 AM at No. 38/02A, Shrubbery Gardens, Bambalapitiya, Colombo 4, followed by Cremation at the Kanatte Hindu Cemetery at around 01:00 PM.
