Mrs. Shanthanayaki Arunthavanathan, who was born in Tirunelveli, and lived in Urumpirai, and later settled in Canada passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 7-12-2020 surrounded by her family.
She is the precious daughter of the late Vettivelu and Ratnam, and the loving daughter-in-law of the late Appathurai and Nagamma.
Beloved wife of Arunthavanathan (retired, Ceylon Transport Board).
Cherished mother of Skandarauban, Shanthini and Sivaganeshan.
Loving mother-in-law of Jeyapriya, Suseenthiran and Senthiru,
Adored grandmother of Saumeya, Avenaash, Vihvaan, Arthmihan, Diviya and Janani.
Precious sister of the late Sarvaloganayagam, Sabanayagam, Sowpackiyanayaki and Nallainayagam.
Loving sister-in-law of Rasaratnam, Sathiananthan, Pearl, Rajanayaky, Atputharani, Sarojinidevi, Uma, Thiraviaratnam and of late Mahesaratnam, Theiventhiran, Atputhanathan, Sundaralingam, Murugananthan, Indira, Mohana and Pushpawathy.
Final rites was held on Sunday, 13-12-2020. Due to COVID-19 regulations, we regretfully inform that the service was limited to immediate family members only.
