Mrs. Shanthanayaki Sinnathurai, who was born in Brown Road, Jaffna and lived in Kotahena, Colombo, passed away peacefully and was embraced by Lord Shiva on Sunday, 28 February 2021.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nagamani and Annam,
Loving daughter in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nagalingam and Annapillai perative Society),
Ever loving mother of Manoharan, Manoranjithan, Jeyachandran, Mathiruban and Jeyamathi,
all of France, and Jeyasutha (Colombo),
Kind and loving sister of the late Kandasamy and Maheswary, and also of Nageswary,
Loving sister in law of Bagawathy, the late Sinnarasa, Balaratnam, Ponnambalam, Sellathurai
and Rasamani,
Loving mother in law of Sumathy, Jegatheeswary, Chandrakala, Yasothara and Thevasurendran,
all of France,
Affectionate grandmother of Manoj, Dinesh, Nishanth, Mithulan, Mathumitha, Natasha, Jenikraj, Jenushan, Mayuran, Yathushan and Raviraj,
Dearly loving great grandmother of Hansana.
Her remains will lie in state for viewing at her residence on Saturday, 06 March 2021, with the
funeral and final rites functions conducted on Sunday, 07 March 2021, at around 02:00 PM,
followed by Cremation at Madampitiya Cemetery at around 05:00 PM.
