Mr. Sinnathamby Kandiah, who was born in Kaithady East, Jaffna, and lived in Kaithady South, Jaffna, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Saturday, 11 December 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Sinnathamby and Sinnathangam,
Loving son in law of Velupillai and Sinnapillai,
Beloved husband of Nageswaryammah,
Ever loving father of Arunthathy (Germany), Anbalagi (Swiss), Ahila (Swiss), Amutha (France), Ahilan (USA) and Anjala (Swiss),
Loving father in law of Kasipillai (Germany), Subhashkaran (Swiss), Ramanitharan (Swiss), Ramesh (France), Kuhethini (USA) and Sasikumar (Swiss),
Affectionate grandfather of Shaktheepan, Abhira, Satheepan, Aishwarya, Atchutha, Sanjeevan, Ranushan, Thanojan, Thahana, Jashwanthy, Lavatheesan, Vishnusellath, Abhirami, Ashwini and Siddarth,
Dearly loving great grandfather of Veerath, Janu and Rio,
Kind and loving older brother of the late Subramaniam, Sellammah, Vallipillai and Sellathurai, and also of Shanmugaratnam,
Loving brother in law of Sivasubramaniam (deceased), Vigneswaran (Swiss), Thadshanakayilayapathy, Kanapathipillai, Ponnampalam (deceased), Yogarani (Swiss), Rajinidevi, Sivapackiyam and Maheswary (Swiss),
Also the brother in law (Sahalan) of the late Veerasingam.
His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at his residence, at around 10:00 AM, on Tuesday, 14 December 2021, followed by cremation at the Ootral Hindu Cemetery in Kaithady.
