Mr. Sinnathurai Kumaravel (JP) (Retired Librarian and Justice of the Peace), who was born and lived in Chunnakam, Jaffna, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Wednesday, 13 January 2021.
He is the beloved youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Sinnathurai and Rasamani,
Loving son in law of Mr. and Mrs. Sellathurai and Nagammah,
Beloved husband of the late Thilagavathy (former General Manager, All Purpose Cooperative Society, Chunnakam),
Ever loving father of Vithushini (Senior Technical Officer, Medical Faculty, University of Jaffna), and Jeyapranavan (Owner, Kumarans Group, Chunnakam),
Loving father in law of Sureshkumar (Chief Engineer, Jaffna Municipal Council),
Kind and Loving brother of the late Vettivel,
Loving brother in law of the late Krishananathan (Ilankainayagam; former Translator at the Sri Lanka Parliament) and Tharmavathy, and also of Thilagaratnam (Thilagar; Canada) and Puvaneswary (Canada).
Also the loving brother in law of Ratnapoopathy (Colombo), the late Sivagnanam (Susithar) Ranjinidevi (Canada),
Loving uncle (Chiththappah) of Suganthi, Srimathi, Dhushyanthi, Srikanth, Susintha, and Ravanan, all of Canada, and Vasuki and the late Nakeeran,
Caring uncle (Mama) of Thayaparan (Norway), Kirbaharan (Colombo), Sujatha (Colombo), Sharuka (Canada) and Shanmugapriya (Canada),
Affectionate grandfather of Kethusha, Kenisha (5 th Grade, Uduvil Ladies College).
His Funeral and Final Rites functions will be conducted at his residence on Wednesday, 13 January 2021 at around 1:30 PM followed by Cremation at the Chunnakam Kothiyalady Hindu Cemetery.
