Mr. Sithamparapillai Gengatharan, who was born and lived in Vetharadaipu, Karainagar, Jaffna, and later lived in Visuvarthanai Road, Pannagam, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Tuesday, 02 March 2021.
He is the beloved son of Mr. Sithamparapillai (Retired Provincial Agricultural Officer) and the
late Mrs. Meenadchi (Retired Teacher, Yarltan College),
Loving son in law of the late Mr. Thirunavukarasu and Mrs. Valliammai,
Beloved husband of Thavamalar (Retired Accountant, Palmyrah and Coconut Development
Cooperative Society, Chankanai),
Ever loving father of Janakan (Teacher, Yarltan College), Kamalaraj (Samurdhi Officer, Regional
Office, Karainagar), Gowrieason (Colombo) and K. M. Sundhar (Student, Manipay Hindu College),
Kind and Loving brother of Ilakumikanthan (Deputy Educational Officer, Trincomalee) and Thirumagal (Grama Sevakha, Regional Office, Karainagar),
Loving father in law (and uncle) of Vanithma (Teacher, Jaffna Hindu College), Dharshana (Teacher, Paranthan Hindu Maha Vidyalayam), Ahmbika (Physical Training Teacher, Karainagar Hindu College) and Senthuran (Program Director, Suriyan F.M., Colombo),
Caring uncle (Chiththappah) Lavanyan and Yasotharan,
Affectionate grandfather of Keerthinath,
Loving brother in law of Thangamani.
His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at his residence at Visuvarthanai Road,
Pannagam, on Thursday, 04 March 2021 at around 10:00 AM, and his remains will be taken for
Cremation at the Sambalodai Hindu Cemetery.
