He is the beloved son of the late Sivagnanam (Retd. Railway Station Master) and Saraswathi of Kanakeswari.

Kind and Loving brother of Santhini (USA), Sukumaran (Sri Lanka), the late Ravikumaran, Inpakumaran (Norway), Mathini (Sri Lanka) and Jeevakumaran (Sri Lanka),
Loving brother-in-law of Dr. Shanmuganathan, Sri Padmini, Vanitha, Sritharan, Jeyakumari, Mathivathany, Jayavathany, late Kamalanathan, Vaikunthanathan and Kailainathan.
