Mr. Sivaguru Ganeshan, who was born in Urumpirai, Jaffna, and lived in London and Colombo, passed away in Colombo, and was embraced by God on Saturday, 06 March 2021.
He is the beloved son of late Mr. and Mrs. Sivaguru and Selvapackiyam of Urumpirai East,
Loving son in law of the late Dr. and Mrs. Chandrasekaram,
Beloved husband of Bavani,
Kind and Loving brother of Pathmanaban (deceased), Jeyswary Narendra (deceased), Vimaladevi Srishantha (UK), and the late Mahadevan,
Ever loving father of Arujina (USA), Dr. Braman (UK) and Sutharshan (USA),
Loving brother in law of Dr. S. Parameswaran (USA), Dr. Vaithiyasekaram (USA), KumarChandrasekaram (USA) and Malathy Idaikadar (USA).
His remains will lie in state for viewing on Tuesday, 09 March 2021 at 09:00 AM at A. F. Raymonds Funeral Parlour, with funeral and final rites functions conducted at 03:00 PM followed by Cremation at the Borella General Cemetery.
The late Mr. Sivaguru Ganeshan functioned as the Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Housing and Development, and as a Professor at the Hong Kong University, and also as a Senior Lecturer at the London University.
