Mr. Sivagurunathan Rangarajah (Former Northern and Eastern Provincial Permanent Secretary; Northern Provincial Permanent Secretary), who was born in Ponnalai, Jaffna, and lived in Colombo, passed away in Colombo and was embraced by God on Monday, June 15,2020.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sivagurunathan and Rohini Amma,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. Ponnambalam and Mrs. Manonmani Ponnambalam,
Beloved husband of Semmanachelvi,
Loving brother of K.P.S. Varatharajah (Retired High Court Judge), Packiyalakshmy, Sownthararajah (Bahrain), Vijayalakshmi and Jeyalakshmi,
Loving brother in law of the late Sampanthan, and also of Thirunavukarasan, Aarooran,Vathavuran, Suntharamoorthy and Kalaimagal.
Funeral and final rites were held today, Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at his residence at 62,Vivekananda Hill, Kotahena, Colombo -13, followed by Cremation at the Kanatte Hindu Cemetery at Borella.
