Mrs. Sivakamy Mahalingam, who was born in Colombo, and lived in London and Cambridge, UK, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Wednesday, 13 January 2021.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ponnuthurai and Sivananthan Rubi Vijayamani,
Loving daughter in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kandiah Sangarapillai and Muthupillai of Kayanthappai, Thellipalai West,
Beloved wife of the late Mr. Sangarapillai Mahalingam (Old Boy of Mahajana College),
Ever loving mother of Shankar and Shivakar,
Kind and loving sister of Sivaranjini Chandrakanthan (Toronto),
Loving mother in law of Shinal Ramesh and Nita,
Loving sister in law of the late Paranjothy, and Thevarani (Retired Teacher, Skandavarodaya College),
Affectionate grandmother of Esme Meena, Thevan Ramesh, Luther King and Larissa Lee.
Her funeral and final rites functions will be conducted on Thursday, 28 January 2021 at 3:00 PM, as per the current healthcare guidelines at the Cambridge City Crematorium.
