Mrs. Sivapackiyam Balasingam, who was born and lived in Idaipiddy, Karainagar, Jaffna, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Friday, 12 November 2021.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Sangarapillai and Parvathypillai,
Loving daughter in law of the late Ponnampalam and Parvathypillai,
Beloved wife of the late AGA Balasingam,
Ever loving mother of Gnanambigai (Sri Lanka), Kamalambigai (Teacher- Sri Lanka),Kanagambigai (Ambika- France), Sountharambigai (Germany), Thanalakshmi (Sri Lanka),Mohanambal (Canada) and Nesamalar (France),
Loving mother in law of Sivasothy (Sri Lanka), Lingeswaran (Teacher – Sri Lanka), Gengatharan(France) (deceased), Vijayasingam (Sri Lanka), Sivananthan (Sri Lanka), Rudralingam (Sri Lanka) and Arulnathan (Chuty – France),
Kind and Loving sister of the late Sundaramoorthy, Sivakalai and Sivapragasam, and also of Sivamani (Canada),
Loving sister in law of Thiruvathirai (Retired Post Master), Easwary (deceased), Valliammai,
Balasubramaniam, Logeswary and Opilamani,
Affectionate grandmother of Arulkumaran, Thulasi (Jaffna), Janani, Kethees (London), Ramesh

Her funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at her residence on Sunday, 14 November 2021, at around 8:00 AM, followed by cremation at the Sambalodai Cemetery.
