Mrs. Sivapackiyam Selvaratnam, who was born in Mathagal East, Jaffna, and lived in Mathagal, Canada, and lately lived in Nelunkulam, Vavuniya, passed away peacefully today Sunday, 21 February 2021 at around 5:00 AM in Vavuniya, and was embraced by God.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kandiah and Manonmani,
Loving daughter in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vairamuthu and Lakshmipillai,
Beloved wife of the late Mr. Vairamuthu Selvaratnam,
Ever loving mother of Baskaran (Nelunkulam), Selvaranjini (deceased) and Kalaivani (Thamilnithi; Canada),
Kind and loving sister of Punniyamoorthy and Ramasamy, and also of Thavamani, Thuraisingam
and Puvaneswary,
Affectionate grandmother of Senthuran, Mayuran, Aravinthan, Prathipa, Aruni, Yugapriya, Umasuthan and Umaprakash,
Dearly loving great grandmother of Venilavan, Baheerathy, Ilakiyan and Karunya.
Her funeral and final rites functions will be conducted tomorrow, Monday, 22 February 2021 at No. 71-1 Mannar Road, 3 rd Milepost, Nelunkulam, Vavuniya, followed by Cremation at the Nelunkulam Cemetery.
