Mr. Sivasubramaniam Ambihaipahan, who was born in Thumpalai, Point Pedro, Jaffna, and lived in Wellawatte, Colombo, passed away peacefully in Colombo and was embraced by God on Wednesday, 18 August 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Sivasubramaniam and Kamalavathy,
Loving son in law of the late Subramaniam and Pooranam,
Beloved husband of Saroja (Singapore),
Ever loving father of Ganesh (Singapore),
Kind and loving brother of Ravindran (Retired Grama Sevakha), Kulendran (Department of Agriculture), Jeyaseelan (Italy) and Arunthathy (Retired Teacher),
Loving brother in law of the Namasivayagam (Singapore), Balasingam (Singapore), Saroja, Arunthathy, Maragathavalli and Ganendrarajan,
Caring uncle (Periyappah) of Yogeswaran, Gnanendran, Ketheeswaran, Ajithram, Brintha, Keerthana and Jeyanthan,
Affectionate uncle (Mama) of Sujenthirai and Yathurshiya.
His remains were kept in state for viewing and paying tributes at the Jayaratne Parlour in Borella, with the funeral and final rites functions conducted at around Noon on Thursday, 19 August 2021, followed by cremation at around 5:00 PM.
