She was the daughter of the late Raj Ariaratnam(Editor of Eelakesari, Eelanadu and Chinthamani newspapers) and Radha Ariaratnam(Teacher) and
Daughter-in-law of the late Kandiah Perairampillai and Lalithadevi Perairampillai.
Beloved wife of Murale Perairampillai.
Loving mother of Ramya and Abirami.
Loving niece of Vimaladevi Rajasingam and of the late Satyabhama Duraisingam , Sakunthala Jeganathan, Nataraja Mahadeva, Nataraja Pathmanathan, Nataraja Vamadeva and Nagamma Rajaratnam.
Loving Cousin of Uma, Shyamala, Divakaran, Bhagirathan, Mythili, Janaarthana, Sanjayan, Varen, Meera, Ahndal, Raghavan, Gayatri, Subashini, Parthipan, Kesavan, Premini, Siddarthan, Rahulan, Ananda and the late Pratheepan and Giritharan.
