Mr. Somasundaram Sivapatham, who was born in Thaviduthinni Pillaiyar Kovilady, Velanai East, Ward No. 3, Jaffna and lived in Vavuniya, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Monday, 15 November 2021.
He is the beloved eldest son of the late Somasundaram and Sivamani,
Loving son in law of the late Iyampillai and Kangambigai,
Beloved husband of Krishnamalar,
Ever loving father of Nilusha (Vavuniya) and Nirthika (Canada),
Kind and loving brother of Nirmalan (Denmark), Nirmala (France) and Yogarajah (Netherlands),
Loving father in law of Dr. Koneswaran (Vavuniya) and Dhushyanthan (Canada),
Affectionate grandfather of Sugirthanan, Sugirthana, Suvirthan, Pranavi and Vibeeshan.
His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at his residence at 5 th Lane, Paddukadu
(6 th Lane End, Vepankulam), Vavuniya, at around 10:00 AM, on Wednesday, 17 November 2021,
followed by cremation at the Thadchnankulam Hindu Cemetery.
