Mr. Sothilingam Subramaniam, who was born in Vevil, Valvetty, Jaffna, and lived in Colombo,Saudi Arabia, France and Pinner, London, passed away peacefully in London and was embraced by God on Saturday, 20 February 2021.
He is the beloved grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kanthavanam Thambiah, and Mr. and Mrs. Chinniah Vaatthiyar,
Loving son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Subramaniam and Sivakolunthu of Valvetty,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tharmaratnam and Nagammah of Alvai,
Beloved husband of Yogathaya (Yoga),
Ever loving father of Praveena,
Kind and loving brother of Rajeswary, Mangayarkarasi, Sivagnanasundaram, Selvasothy, Packiyam, Thevamanohari, Rathidevi, Sivakumar, Amirthalingam and Rajeswaran,
Loving brother in law of Ilammuruganar (deceased), Nadesar, Thanalakshmi (deceased), Tharmalingam, Anandarajah, Aravinthanathan (deceased), Yogarajah, Sasikala, Malini and Nalini,
Also the loving brother in law of Thayanithi (Canada), Thayarathi (deceased) (Sirupiddy),Thayajothy
(Canada), Sri Thaya (deceased) (Sri Lanka), Jeyathaya (Canada), Thayarani (Canada),Thayathevi (Canada) and Mahathaya (Canada),
And the loving brother in law (Sahalan) of Ganeshwarar (Canada), Thurairajah (Sirupiddy), Krishnapillai (Canada), Navaratnarajah (Sri Lanka), Shanthakumar (Canada), Namasivayasivam (Canada), Sriharan (Canada) and Arunthathi (Rathi; Canada).
