Mr. Subramaniam Shanmuganathan, who was born in Pirambadi Kokuvil, Jaffna, and lived in Toronto, Canada, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Tuesday, 12 October 2021.
He was a Retired Technical Officer of the Irrigation Department of Sri Lanka, Old Student of Kokuvil Hindu College, Former President, Old Boys Association of Kokuvil Hindu College,Canada and Former President, Iyappan Gurusamy (Shan Samy), Canada.
He is the beloved eldest son of the late Subramaniam and Nagarathinam,
Loving son in law of the late Sinnathurai and Rasamalar,
Beloved husband of Rajana,
Ever loving father of Satheeshkar, Pratheeshkar and Latheeshkar,
Loving father in law of Sujatha, Srimythili and Gowthami,
Affectionate grandfather of Parvathy, Lakshman, Arjun, Vikram and Mayan,
Kind and loving brother of Mangayarkarasi (deceased), Parameswary (Canada), Rajeswary (France), Mangaleswary (deceased), Sarveswary (Kokuvil), Thiruchelvam (deceased), Satkunanathan (London) and Sathiyanathan (deceased),
Loving brother in law of Gnanendran (Neervely), Kuganendran (Canada), Sarvendran (Norway),
Sivendran (Germany), Ratnendran (Montreal, Canada), Shelini (Germany), Sujendran (France) and Nimalendran (Canada).
