Mr. Subramaniam Thangarasa, who was born in Punithamahal, Vathiri, Jaffna and lived in Thanganila. Vathiri, Jaffna, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Monday, 11 October 2021.
He is the beloved eldest son of the late Subramaniam and Thamayanthiammah,
Loving son in law of the late Tharamarasa and Menahaiyammah,
Beloved husband of Mrs. T. Tharmadevi,
Ever loving father of Ramanan (deceased), Lakshman (Excise Officer) and Vimalan (Teacher, Valvai Sivaguru Vidyasalai, Jaffna),
Loving father in law of Ajantha (Teacher) and Jayatha (Development Officer),
Loving uncle (Periyappah) of Jeyaseelan Ramya (Teacher), Thayalan Lakshmiya (Pharmacist) and Ahilan Vimalya (National Savings Bank),
Affectionate grandfather of Ashwin, Krinthik, Kiruvinth, Athira, Kemithan, Chris and Mathujith,
Kind and loving brother of Thurairajasingm (deceased), Tharmasigamani, Pushparajan (deceased), Ratnasekaran and Punithasigamani,
Loving brother in law of Thavarajah (Retired Teacher), Balendram Thavamanidevi, Gowribalan Thavamalar, Pushparajan Theepamalar and Seevaratnam Devika,
Also, the loving cousin brother M. Thangavel, K. Balasubramaniam, Ratnasingam, Selvaratnam,
Muruganathan and Selvamalar.
His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at his residence on Tuesday, 12 October 2021, at around 10:00 AM and his remains will be taken for cremation to the Alankaddai Hindu Cemetery.
