Sulochanadevi Shanmugarajah (fondly called Sulo Auntie) of late residing at Green Hill Senior Living in West Orange, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, October 6th at the Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingstom, New Jersey. She was 87.
She is the beloved wife of Murugesu Shanmugarajah (Vaddukkottai),
Mother of Ram Amarnath (Indianapolis), Mano Shanmugarajah (New Jersey) and late Shan Prabhahar (New Jersey),
Mother-in-law of Naleni Amarnath and Nalayini Shanmugarajah, and
Grand Mother of Gururaj, Kartik, Shivaraj and Shrinidhi.
Born in Jaffna to late Thuvaragadevi of Uduvil, and late Krishnapillai of Kokkuvil, Sulochanadevi was one amongest six in her family,
Her sibilings are late Ponnambalam (Montreal), late Thuvarageswaran (Sri Lanka), Sarojadevi Kulasingam (London), Thiruthaneeswaran (Sydney) and Shanthidevi Pavalakanthan (Batticaloa).
The Queen of the Shanmugarajah family left her mortal self after sixty-seven years of cherished married life. Her captivating smile, tenacuious and vibrant demeanor will always be missed.
