Mrs. Susana Fernando, who was born in Pasaiyoor, Jaffna and lived in Laer, Germany, passed away peacefully in Germany, and was embraced by God on Wednesday, 09 March 2022. 

She is the beloved wife of the late Fernando.

Beloved eldest daughter of the late Maduthees and Victoria.

Loving daughter in law of Sinnappu and Mariammah.

Ever loving mother of Reggie Christilda (Amita – Sri Lanka), Benancius (France), Reggie Frisca (Germany), Staniswary (Pushpa -Sri Lanka), Benselo (Germany), Wilson (Germany) and Jolly (France).

Loving mother in law of Sountharalingam (Sri Lanka), Rubi (France), Liyojin (Edmund -Germany), Elmo (Sri Lanka), Milda (Germany), Denima (Germany) and Kumar (France).

Kind and Loving sister of the late Phillip (Rasalingam) and Yagappu, and also of Christinammah (Sinnamalar), Theresmalar (Thangam), Jesudas (Thurai) and Mariarani (Annakili).

Affectionate grandmother of Hilton (London), Brenda (Sri Lanka), Brynor (Swiss), Fesmina (France), Rekha (Germany), Rashika (Germany), Dushika (France), Enittus (Germany), Rudson (Germany), Ryula (Germany), Elton (Germany), Marita (Sri Lanka), Arudson (Sri Lanka), Anistro (Sri Lanka), Venusha (Germany), Mithusha (Germany), Veshmi, Dipni, Vithushika, Viyora, Vishani and Vishal (all of Germany), Britney, Jennifer, Sebestina and Maria (all of France).

Dearly loving great grandmother of Jeroshika, Meganshika, Jeshika, Yuvan, Deepshika, Janushika, Joshika, Ella, Reyana, Diyan, Risha, Roshan, Rithika, Archith, Ashiba and Liyandro.

Her remains will lie in state for paying final tributes at Friedhof der Gemeinde Laer Steinfurter strabe 1  48366 Laer Germany, on Saturday, 19 March 2022, followed by Holy Mass at 09:30 AM and internment later.
