Mr Thambiah Pathmanathan
Date of Birth: 12 September 1929 - Deceased: 20 September 2020
Born in Nallur and raised in Manipay. He was educated in Manipay, Colombo and London and qualified as a CivilEngineer. He joined the Ministry of Road Development, Transportation and Irrigation in Sri Lanka and became theDeputy Director of Ministry of Roads and Water works. He married in 1956 and celebrated 58 years together untilthe demise of his wife in 2015. Over the years, he resided with his families in Nallur, Staten Island (USA) and London. He enjoyed a healthy enriched life until his peaceful demise.

Loving father-in-law of Wanda and Narendran,
Affectionate brother-in-law of Maheswary, late Poopalan & late Nesaluxmi, late Rajaratnam & Kamalawathy, late Vijendran & Sakunthalathevi, Gopalasingam & Neelambihai, Ratnasingam & late Shyamala.
Funeral ritual will take place on Tuesday the 29th of September at 9.30am at Chandu Tailor & Son's funeral parlour at Chani House, 13 Lower Park Rd, New Southgate, London N11 1QD followed by a cremation at 1pm at New Southgate Crematorium, Brunswick Park Rd, New Southgate, London N11 1JJ.
Due to COVID restrictions, the family will invite all attendees personally so please respect the families’ wishes.
