Dr. Thambiaiyah Selvaratnam was born in Urumpirai, and lived in Kodigamam and London passed away peacefully on Monday, 13th April 2020.
He worked as a registered medical practitioner Chavakachcheri, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya,Badulla and several
other different hospitals around up country areas in Srilanka.
He is the eldest loving son of deceased couple Thambiaiyah and Sinnathangachi,
and lovingson in law of deceased couple Sadasivam and Nallamma (Kodigamam),
He is the beloved husband of deceased Leelavathi Selvaratnam(Leela teacher- former teacher at Kodigamam Tirunavukaracu Central College),
He is the father of Suresh(Kannan- OFAAL Chairman), Ramesh(Aruchanan), Prakash and Sujatha,
Brother of Mankayarkarasi(UK), Late Thavamani Ammal, late Nagaratnam(Indra), LateNavaratnam(Thurai), Gunavathy Ammal(UK), Kanagaratnam(UK), Late ThanalaxmiAmmal, Jeevaratnam(UK) and Jeyaratnam,
(UK) Brother in law of Late Ponnuthurai, Late Ayathurai, Late Dr Rajaratnam, Ratnapupati, Ranganathan(UK), Pushpavathy(UK), Late Sellakandu, Lingaeswary(UK), Kirija(UK),
