Mr. Thambipillai Sothilingam, who was born in Ariyalai, Jaffna and lived in Oslo, Norway passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Monday, 13 December 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Thambipillai and Marimuthu,
Loving son in law of the late Namasivayam and Poomalakshmi,
Beloved husband of Thavamalar,
Ever loving father of Gajanan, Dylakshan and Gopika,
Kind and loving brother of Panchalingam (deceased) (former Deputy Director of Education, Education Department, Jaffna), Nageshwary, Balasubramaniam, Thiyagalingam (Norway), Saraswathy, Koshaladevi, Yogadevi (Norway) and Mahalingam (Mani -Canada),
Loving brother in law of Kamaladevi, Perampalam, Yogammah, Chandravathy (Norway), Selvarajah (deceased), SIvabalasingam, Gunathasan (Norway), Pushpa (Canada), Ramachandran (Swiss), Malar, Kandeepan (France), Navamalar (Germany) and Nahulan (Swiss).
His remains will lie in state for Viewing the Ahus Hospital on Tuesday, 14 December 2021, and Wednesday, 15 December 2021 from 06:00 PM to 08:00PM every day, with the funeral and final rites functions conducted in Oslo on Thursday, 16 December 2021, as per the government regulations.
