Mrs Thamotharampillai Thangammal

Mrs. Thangammal Thamotharampillai (Retired Teacher, Methodist College, Kotahena, Colombo- 13), who was born in Nainathivu, Ward No. 4, Jaffna and lived in New Zealand, passed away in New Zealand and was embraced by God on Tuesday, 17 November 2020.
She is the beloved wife of the late Mr. Thamotharampillai (labour Officer, Kilinochi),
Beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sangarapillai and Sivakamipillai,
Loving daughter in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ramanathan and Valliammai,
Ever loving mother of Manimoli (Former Teacher, Ramanathan Hindu Ladies College, Colombo),
Geetha (Barrister and Solicitor, New Zealand), Sri Ramanathan (Engineer, New Zealand) and
Ravishankar (Engineer, New Zealand),
Loving mother in law of Parameswaran (Attorney at Law and Retired Principal, Colombo Hindu
College), the late Arun, Thayaparan (Engineer, New Zealand), Saratha (New Zealand) and Siva
Anushya (New Zealand),
Affectionate grandmother of Vethaki (Medical Faculty, University in Australia), Nethra (New Zealand) and Athira (New Zealand),
Kind and Loving sister of the late M. S. Thirunavukarasu (Retired Police Officer, JP) and
M. S. Shanmuganathan (Retired Post Master), and also of M. S. Sundaralingam (Germany),
Loving sister in law of the late Sivasubramaniam (Colombo, Maniam Stores), Kamalambigai and
Katpakam, and also of Nagaratnam, Packiyaratnam, (Retired Teacher), Thanaledchumy Arunthathi and Janaki,
Also the loving sister in law (Sahaly) of the late Paramanathy and Kathiresu, and also of Nageswary, Ratnasabapathy (Retired Teacher) and Sivapathasekharam (Retired Principal).
Her funeral and final rites functions will be conducted on Sunday, 22 November 2020 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Manuku Memorial Gardens Chapel at 361 Puhinuni Road Papatoetoe, Auckland, New Zealand.
