Mrs. Vasanthadevi Tharmalingam, who was born in Sivan Kovilady, Kopay South, Jaffna, and lived in Chunnakam and Irupalai, passed away peacefully in Irupalai and was embraced by God on Monday, 28 March 2022.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Ponniah and Selvapackiyam.
Loving daughter in law of the late Kandiah and Thangammah.
Beloved wife of the late Kandiah Tharmalingam.
Ever loving mother of Jeyarajan (Malaysia), Sriranjani (Chunnakam), Jeevarani (Chunnakam), Geetha (France), Kavitha (Germany) and Manjula (Rupa -Irupalai).
Loving mother in law of Sriranjini (Colombo), Thangavel (Saudi), Mahalingam (London), Gnanakumar (France), Yogapragasam (Germany) and Robert (Dias -Irupalai).
Kind and loving sister of the late Kumarasamy, Sakunthaladevi (Pavalam – London) and the late Alagaratnam.
Loving sister in law of Sellamuthu (deceased), Aputhurai, Kanagasabai Saraswathy (deceased), Easwarydevi and the late Pushpavathy and Sathiyabalasingam.
Affectionate grandmother of Akshana, Kavin, Somayini, Yasitharan, Naresh, Kamshika, Vakshika, Branavan, Brinthika, Malcom, Suruthi, Brinthan, Stephanie, Suyan, Jenika, Priyanka, Thanuraj, Dylakshana, Mathujana, Olintra, Pavalan and Sangavi.
Dearly loving great grandmother of Vishwa, Krithish, Keyson, Cain, Cailiya, Shanvi and Keylan.
Her funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at her residence around 09:00 AM on Thursday, 31 March 2022, followed by cremation at the Notchikadu Hindu Cemetery in Irupalai at around 11:30 AM.
