Mr. Thiyagarajah Markandu, who was born in Kalviyankadu, Nallur, Jaffna and lived in Velur, India, and later in Jaffna, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Wednesday, 08 September 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thiyagarajah and Packiyam,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. Sinnathurai and Mrs. Rasammah (Denmark),
Beloved husband of Neeladevi,
Ever loving father of Sivajini (Germany), Kovarthani (Canada), Senthuran (Sri Lanka) and Gopithan (Sri Lanka),
Loving father in law of Srikantha, Paraneetharan and Latha,
Affectionate grandfather of Jerushan, Jenishan, Jessica, Iyalini, Serone, Kayal and Theedtchithan.
His funeral and final rites functions were conducted at his residence in Jaffna, on Thursday, 09 September 2021, and the remains were cremated at the Chemmani Hindu Cemetery.
