Miss. Sathuriya Ujithan, who was born and lived in Kovil Road, Nallur, Jaffna, passed away and was embraced by God on Thursday, 12 November 2020.
She is the beloved daughter of Mr. Ujithan (Program Director, Vocational Training Authority (VTA), Jaffna) and Mrs. Dino Jovita Ujithan,
Kind and Loving sister of Karunya (Jaffna Hindu Ladies College) and Sathvika,
Beloved granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kanthavanam and Sarojinidevi of Velanai, and Mr. and Mrs. Dominic and Jeyamani,
Loving foster daughter of Ravichandran (Norway), Ravishankar (Canada), Ravichelvan (Canada),
Joyce, Dishi (Netherlands), Merlin (Grama Sevakha, J77, Maruthadi), Gowri (Norway), Kirubanithi (Canada), Kokila (Canada), Edmund Jeyakumar, Nishanthan (Netherlands) and Jude Jeyakumar (Road Development Authority, Jaffna),
Loving niece of Andrew Justin (France), Shiroma (France) and Gunaseelan (Canada),
Affectionate foster sister of Gowshikan, Nila, Praveen, Niruja, Thenuja, Mithusha, Tharmitha, Harusha, Jenukshi, Nithin, Sayana, Jemeksha and Sherwick,
Dearly loving cousin (Matchaal) of Adrian, Ananiya, Anshika, Ashwin and Thamira.
Funeral and final rites were conducted at her residence on Friday, 13 November 2020 at around 02:00 PM, followed by Holy Resting at the Chaaty Hindu Cemetery.
