Mrs. Uthayakumari Ravindrarajah, who was born in Annasathira Lane, Kantharmadam, Jaffna, and lived in Wellawatte, Colombo, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Friday, 21 January 2022.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Murugesu and Subhathra,
Loving daughter in law of the late Murugesu (A. M) and Annammah,
Beloved wife of Ravindrarajah,
Ever loving mother of Nirushan (UK) and Tharangani (Colombo),
Loving mother in law of Ashwin,
Affectionate grandmother of Rithvikan and Mithvikan,
Kind and loving sister of the late Uthayakumar (Kumar), Vijayakumari (Vijaya -Canada), Vijayakumar (Rajan) (deceased), Imayakumari (Sri -Canada), Premakumari (Kunju -Canada), Ranjinikumari (Ranji -Canada), Premakumar (Babu -Canada) and Srikumar (Rajaji -Canada),
Loving sister in law of Thayalini (Colombo), Tharmarajah (Canada), Mathi (France), Balasingam, Singarajah, Krishnabalan, Bavani and Gnanarubi (all of Canada),
Also, the loving sister in law of Pathmasothy -Balasubramaniam (Germany), Ranjithamalar (Ranji) -Thillainathan (Canada), Amirthamalar (Kili), Rajaratnam (Canada), Inpavathani - Tharmalingam (Sri Lanka), Thavendra -Janani (UK), Amirthanayagam -Veni (Colombo), Thananayagam (AMT), Nirmala (Colombo), Ganeshalingam -Thapo (Jaffna) and Yasothara - Yogarajah (Canada).
Her viewing and funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at her residence at 79/6, W. A. Silva Mawatha, Colombo -06, at around 09:00 AM on Sunday, 23 January 2022, followed by cremation on Monday 23 January 2022, at the Borella Cemetery.
