Mr Vairavappillai Sivachanderathevan
Deceased: 23 May 2020
Mr. Vairavapillai Sivachandrathevan who was born in Puloly Puttalai, Jaffna, and lived in Udupiddy and Colombo, passed away and was embraced by God today, May 23, 2020.
He organized the Vadamaradchi Shorthand Typing Association around 1985 and provided
typing training to the youth in Udupiddy and other surrounding towns. Due to this generous
gesture of goodwill, currently several people are gainfully employed at Courts, Banks,
Government Offices and other organizations, and are leading meaningful lives.
In addition, he has also served the Pandagai Pillayar Temple and was involved in several
religious activities.
As a Social Service Volunteer he has sincerely been involved in the various social activities of his
village until the final days.
His sudden demise has induced great sorrow not only to his family, but also his other villagers
and the people from the surrounding towns.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. Kandiah Vairavapillai and Mrs. Annammal Vairavapillai,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. Kathiripillai Balasingam and Mrs. Kamalini Balasingam,
Beloved husband of Krishnakumari,Arial
Ever loving father of Sajishnavan, Suhanithan, Sainthavi, and Abishdagan,
Loving brother of the late Koperunthevi and Sivasuriathevan, and Siva Agnithevan,
Sivasimmathevan, Semmanachelvi and Melliyal,
Loving brother in law of Krishnanantham, Krishnakumar, Kamalakumar, Kalaivani, Mathivathani
and Uma, and also the,
Loving brother in law (Sahalan) of Arunthavarani, Manoranjani, Malini, Vipulanantham, the late
Pushpakumara and Suriyakumar,
Loving uncle (Mama) of Samahithan, Dharjinihithan, Hamsapriya and Ragavi,
and also the Loving uncle (Periyappa) of Ibavaksha, Vathshanghithan, Subhanyan, Pakeshan and Rishaban.

Funeral and Final Rites:-
Sunday, 24 May 2020 around 2:00 PM at the Mahinda Funeral Parlour followed by
Cremation at the Galkissa Cemetery.
