Mr. Vaithialingam Perampalam, who was born in Saravanai, Jaffna, and lived in Thalayali,Kokuvil, Jaffna, passed away and was embraced by God on Saturday, June 13, 2020.
He is the beloved eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vaithialingam and Annapoorani,
and the loving foster son of Parvathipillai Vaithialingam.,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sithamparapillai and Sivakolunthu of Saravanai,
Beloved husband of the late Packiyalakshmi (Retired Teacher; Jaffna Hindu Elementary School),
Ever Loving father of Anbalgan (London), Chandrika (Canada), Arivalagan (Australia), Venuka
(Retired Principal J/ Vembadi Girls School), Arulalagan (Canada), Dr. Ambika (Kopay District
Hospital), Mathiyalagan (London), Sashilekha (Canada), Maniyalagan (London) and Meiyalagan
(Canada),
Loving brother of the late Kumarasingam, Kulasegaram, Rajasegaram (Ponnuthurai),
Kanagaratnam and also of Ketharanathan and Nadeswary (Thevi),
Loving brother in law of the late Theiventhirampillai (Retired Teacher), Parasakthy, Sellammah,
Thevanayaki, and also of Tharmapoopathy, Suntharambal (Retired Teacher), Sivagnanasegaram
and Karunawathy,
Loving father in law of Thamilarasy, Paranthaman, Karunaieaswaryambikai, Shanmugaratnam
(President – Saiva Maha Sabhai), Shanthanayaki, Dr. Sriskandarajah (Jaffna Teaching Hospital).
Premakumari, Senthan, Pamala and Vethanayaki,
Affectionate grandfather of Selvan, Mayilon, Nayani, Uma, Dr. Branavan, Parthipan, Thileepan,
Vithushan, Girisha, Mathula, Aathavan, Senthuran, Nilani, Umaiyal, Ragulan, Shoban, Dr. Aruni,
Shalini, Anjali, Abhirami, Visakan, Sujinthan, Yathusha, Krishanth, Janakan, Anjala and Luxman,
Loving marital grandfather of Dr. Sugi and Ambika.
Funeral and final rites were held on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at around 12:00 Noon at his
residence at Thalayali, Kokuvil, Jaffna, followed by Cremation at the Kokuvil Hindu Cemetery.
