Mrs. Vanasadchi Thevathasan, who was born and lived in Ariyalai, Jaffna passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Friday, 12 March 2021.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Muthiah (Clerical) and Sellammah,
Loving daughter in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ponniah and Thangammah,
Beloved wife of the late Mr. Thevathasan,
Ever loving mother of Ranjani (France), Nandini (UK), Malini (UK), Arunan (UK), Kumuthini
(Central Tourism Control Board, Jaffna) and Mathivanan (France),
Kind and loving sister of the late Kamalasani, Pathmasani, Dr. Sathananthan, Nilosani and Thavamani, and also of Yogananthan (France) and Dr. Ganeshananthan (USA),
Loving mother in law of Manoharan (France), Gopinath (UK)< Sivakanthan (UK), Vasuki (UK),
Vasantharupa (Senior Lecturer, Jaffna University, Knowledge Town) and Sinthuja (France),
Loving sister in law of the late Rasambal, Sellathurai, Kangalingam, Bavanalakshmi and Sivalingam, and also of Kunavathy, Balasingam, and the late Dr. Kanagasingam and Rasiah, and also of Yasa (UK), Shobi (France) and Yogamalar (USA),
Affectionate grandmother of Nirushan, Roshan, Mayuran, Gowthaman, Sangaman (deceased),
Athaman (deceased), Harshini, Kayalvili, Erahan, Ramyan, Kavishan and Dwaraga,
Dearly loving great grandmother of Praheesh, Daris, Dhaksharan, Jasmitha and Mathini.
Her funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at her residence at No. 79 AnanthanVadaly (A.V.) Road, on Sunday, 14 March 2021, at around 10:00 AM, followed by Cremation at Ariyalai Sithupathy Hindu Cemetery.
