Mr. Vanniyasingam Kanthavel, who was born in Thellipalai, Jaffna and Lived in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada passed away peacefully on Saturday, 22 May 2021.
He is the loving son of the late Mr. Vanniyasingam Moothathambi and Manonmani Kuttithambi of Thellippalai,
Loving son in law of the late Subramaniam and Ramasipillai,
He is the loving husband of Sivagnanaluxmy (Maviddapuram),
He is also the ever loving father of Sujatha (Union College Old students 93 O/L, former Secretary and a Committee Member Union College OSA Canada), Kavipreya (95 O/L), Sharmilaa (98 O/L), Karthika (03 O/L), Vykunthan (Thanthai Selva) and Khosala.
Caring father-in-law of Jim, Thuvarakan, Karan, Nirojini and Koby,
Affectionate grandfather of Matusa, Manesh, Meesha, Amrita, Durga, Taarun, Vishnu, Aieshaa, Krish, Amaya, Aditya and Atharvaa,
Loving brother of late Murugavel(Union College Old students), late Rajakumaravel, late Thiruchchevel, Kugavel (former Committee Member OSA Jaffna, and retired teacher of Thanthai Selva, Sri Lanka), Umadevi Shanmuganathan (Sri Lanka), Calaimagal Thirunathan (Sri Lanka), Namagal Bhuvanachandra (one of the founder members of OSA Canada, current Committee Member and one of the long time Committee Members, former teacher Thanthai Selva, Canada), and Poomagal Srikanthamoorthy (Germany).
