Mr. Velayuthan Sivagnanasothy, who was born and lived in Colombo, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Monday, 05 April 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. K. Velayuthan (Attorney at Law) and Ponnammah,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. P. Sivasubramaniam (Benz) and Mrs. Kumuthini,
Beloved husband of Kuramagal (Colombo),
Kind and Loving brother of Thevasenathipathy (Attorney at Law) and Suntharesan (Retired General Manager, National Lottery Board),
Loving brother in law of Mayurathan (Singapore), Sivashankaran (Canada), Sivakanthan and Velvili (Canada),
Affectionate uncle (Chiththappah) of Prathap and Dhushyanthan,
Dearly loving uncle (Mama) of Gokul, Subhahari, Sivaram and Arunsiva,
Loving uncle (Periyappah) of Branavan and Bhairavi.
His remains will lie in state for Viewing at the Borella Jayaratne Parlour, on Wednesday, 07 April 2021 from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM, with funeral and final rites functions conducted on Thursday, 08 April 2021 at around 01:00 PM, followed by Cremation at around 04:00 PM.
