Mr. Velupillai Kanapathipillai, who was born in Kandavalai, Kilinochi, and lived in Varani, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Thursday, 18 February 2021.
He is the beloved eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Velupillai and Sinnatchipillai,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kathirgamu and Paripillai,
Beloved husband of Sinnatchipillai (Sinnathangam),
Kind and Loving brother of Sinnathangam, Saravanamuthu, Parameswary and Vallipillai,
Loving brother in law of the late Kanapathipillai, Sinnapillai and Lakshmipillai, and also of Sinnathurai and Atchipillai,
Ever loving father of Thayaparan (Sri Lanka), Thayananthan (London), Thayalan (France), Theepa (London) and Sunita (London),
Loving father in law of Jeyamohan, Ahilan, Subhajini, Shamini and Jansana,
Affectionate grandfather of Santhosh, Keerthika, Sruthika, Sharwin, Sanjana, Yathurshan, Jenisha, Janusha, Sabhitha, Shobika, Shaswin, Abhina and Pranavi.
His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted on Friday, 19 February 2021 at around noon, followed by Cremation at the Varani Iyatralai Uthal Hindu Cemetery.
