Mr. Velupillai Rasiah, who was born in Analaithivu, Ward No. 1, Jaffna and lived in Pandiyankulam, Vavunikulam, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Friday, 03 December 2021.
He is the beloved son of the late Sinnappah Velupillai and Pathinipillai,
Loving son in law of the late Sabapathypillai Subramaniam and Meenadchipillai,
Beloved husband of the late Vijayalakshmi,
Ever loving father of Nalini (JP, Teacher- M/Pandiyankulam Elementary School), Yalini (deceased), Arunan, Sivaganeshan, Krishnaveni (former Agricultural Faculty Lecturer), Ithayavani and Malini,
Loving father in law of Sajimala, Sivakumar, Dinesh and Pratheesh,
Kind and loving brother of the late Thangammah and Nadarajah, and also of Ratnam, Sinnarasu
(deceased), Sivakolunthu, the late Nallammah and Sivapackiyam, and also of Sivasami (former Teacher -Jaffna Hindu College) and Yogarajah,
Loving brother in law of the late Markandu, Kandasamy, Yogammah Nadarajah, Subramaniam and Kanapathipillai, and also of Kowshala and Sivanandini,
Affectionate grandfather of Shobitha and Ashwin.
His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at his residence on Sunday, 05 December 2021, followed by cremation at the Sivapuram Hindu Cemetery.
