Mr. Vethavanam Kumarasamy, who was born and lived in Iyanar Road, Kalvayal,Chavakachcheri, Jaffna, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Wednesday, 16 December 2020.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vethavanam and Sinnathangam,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thambu and Packiyam,
Beloved husband of the late Poopathy,
Kind and Loving brother of the late Murugesu, Arumugam, Ponniah, Ratnam, Manicakam, Markandu,
Loving brother in law of Balasingam,
Ever loving father of Ilango (former Northern Province Director, Sri Lanka), Mahendran (former
Planning Director, GACDO), Sivagnanasundaram (Ruda Multiple Commerce), Ganeshamoorthy,
Amal Panchakalyani, Nithya Kalyani (Accountant, USA) and Mangala Kalyani (Lecturer, Teacher
Training College, Polannaruwa),
Loving father in law of Nirmala, Kamalaveni, Mohanalatha, Sasimuhunthan (Medical Nurse, USA) and Sivanesan (Jaffna Municipal Council),
Affectionate grandfather of Amjina (France), Ahalya (Accounant, Colombo), Kasthuri, Suman
(Agricultural Lecturer, Vavuniya), Suyen (Development Officer), Gayathri, Mathuri (Merchant Bank), Branavan (Student, Higher National Accounting Diploma), Archana, Ajay (USA), Anjali (USA), Yanavi, Navaneethan (Deputy Educational Director, Mannar), Mahendraraj (LOLC Manager) and Hemasinthuja (Assistant Secretary, Public Service Council),

Following his funeral and final rites functions conducted at his residence, his remains will be taken for cremation to the Chavakachcheri Kannadipiddy Hindu Cemetery on Friday, 18 December 2020 at around 10:00 AM.
