Mrs. Vijaya Manoharan, who was born in Vilanai, Kalapoomi, Karainagar, Jaffna, and lived in Kalubowila, Dehiwala, Colombo, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Tuesday, 05 October 2021.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Kandiah Kanagaratnam and Thevarani (Pooranam),
Loving daughter in law of the late Sivapragasam and Selvarani,
Beloved wife of Sivapragasam Manoharan (My Communication, Bothirukarama Road),
Ever loving mother of Selvan Naresh and Danishan (Colombo Hindu College),
Kind and Loving sister of Sathanantham (Australia),
Loving sister in law of Chandrakumar (deceased), Karunaharan, Yogeswaran, Baskaran, Varendran (deceased) and Vijitha (Australia),
Caring aunty (Mami) of Divyesh, Harish and NIthusha,
Loving sister in law (Sahaly) of Thanalakshmi, Kanagambigai and Arudchelvi.
Her remains will lie in state for paying tributes at the Mahinda Parlour from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, today Wednesday, 06 October 2021, then the funeral and final rites functions will be conducted from 7:00 AM on Thursday, 07 October 2021, followed by cremation at round 9:00 AM at the Galkissa General Cemetery.
