Mr. Vijayaratnam Ponnampalam, who was born in Nedunkerny, Vavuniya, and lived in Colombo and Vavuniya, passed away and was embraced by God on Sunday, 27 December 2020.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thiraviyam and Nallammah,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nadarajah,
Beloved husband of Krishnabama (Babu),
Ever loving father of Jananthini (Canada), Hanthuja (Australia) and Hareshanan (Saravanan),
Loving father in law of Dineshkanth (Canada),
Kind and loving brother of Selvarajah (Sri Lanka), Venmathyrajah (Swiss), Sriskandarajah (Swiss),
Selvakumari (Canada), Pushparajah (Swiss) and Arunthavarajah (Sri Lanka),
Loving brother in law of Sarojadevi (Sri Lanka), Ranjithkumari (Swiss), Sathiyakantha (Swiss),
Renukumar (Canada), Kowshalakumari (Swiss), Yalini (Shaily; Swiss), Jeyanithi (Kani; London)
and Rahulan (France),
Affectionate grandfather of Athiyashri (Canada) and Aharan (Canada).
His funeral and final rites functions will be conducted at his residence on Monday, 28 December
2020 at around 10:00 AM followed by Cremation.
