Dr. Vinayagamoorthy Sivamoorthy (Doctor, Cooperative Hospital, Thellipalai; also worked at Medi Spot in Maradana), who was born in Malaysia, and lived in Thellipalai, Jaffna, and Wellwatte, Colombo passed away and was embraced by God on Saturday, May 16, 2020.
He is the beloved youngest son of the late Dr. and Mrs. Vinayagamoorthy (Malaysia) and
Sivagengai,
Loving son in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Rasaiah and Kanagamma of Kantharmadam, Jaffna,
Beloved husband of Rathi,
Loving brother of Rajaluxmy (Rasa; Colombo), and the late Sathiyamoorthy and
Krishnamoorthy,
Loving brother in law of the late Rajaratnam, Malini (USA) and Radhakrishnan (Germany),
Affectionate uncle of Niraan, Sithraan and MIthraan, and also the
Uncle (Siththappa) of Brintha, Shakthi, and Ranga,
Funeral and final rites will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at around 10:00 AM at Mahinda
Funeral Directors in Mt. Lavinia followed by Cremation at the Mt. Lavinia Cemetery.
Due to the current situation, attendance at the Funeral will be limited to only ten (10) people.
