Mrs. Yasotha Sothipragasam, who was born in Chanthiranthai, Thikam, Alvai West, Jaffna and lived in Wellawatte, Colombo passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Monday, 03 January 2022.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Kanapathipillai (Chakadathar) and Sivayogamalar,

Her remains were kept for paying tributes at the Jayaratne Parlor in Borella, on Saturday, 08 January 2022 from 08:30 AM to 06:30 PM, and on Sunday, 09 January 2022, from 08:30 AM, with funeral and final rites functions conducted from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by cremation at the Kanatte Hindu Cemetery in Borella.
