Miss. Yogeswarydevi Thurairajah, who was born in Chankanai, Jaffna, and lived in Kurumankadu, Vavuniya, passed away peacefully and was embraced by God on Thursday, 08 July 2021.
She is the beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thurairajah and Paripooranam,
Loving daughter in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Packiyanathan,
Kind and Loving sister of the late Parameswarydevi and Sridevi, and also of Easwarydevi (Retired Teacher, Vavuniya Madya Maha Vidyalayam), Parameswaran (Retired Forest Officer, Vavuniya), Susheeladevi (London), the late Yogeswaran (Germany) and Babuthuraiyappah (Canada),
Loving sister in law of Ponnampalanathan, the late Vamadevan, Sivarajah (Canada), Thavamani (Retired Teacher, Vavuniya Madya Maha Vidyalayam), Ravichandra (London), Nandini (Germany) and Thamilarasi (Canada),
Caring aunty (Chinnammah) of Dilani (Courts, Chavakachcheri), Kirubaharan (Canada) and Prema (London),
Cherished aunty (Periyammah) of Jatharni (Teacher, Ratmalana Hindu College), Thusharan (Doctor, Vavuniya General Hospital) and Nilakshan (London),
Loving aunty (Chinna Mami) of Vaishnavi (Teacher, Vavuniya, Irambaikulam Maha Vidyalayam),
Banu Purushothamy (Teacher, Vavuniya Maha Vidyalayam), Ragaveena (Germany), Shenthini
Mathushini, and Harrisraj (Canada).
Her funeral and final rites functions were conducted on Friday, 09 July 2021 at around 01:00 PM, and her remains were cremated at the Thadchanankulam Hindu Cemetery at around 02:00 PM.
