Tamilthakaval.Org website was established in the year 2018 in New Jersey, USA with the urge and sole intention of providing a completely ‘free of charge service’ to facilitate our "Tamil Community" who are living around the world, to share their losses, remembrances and other important notices, without incurring any expenses or going through any economic hardships.
Being supported by many volunteers, our services extend and are not limited to assisting information providers or those who want to post on their own in this website with their scripting.

Our Services:
We are pleased to provide this service to announce the obituaries of your relatives and friends to others living around the world free of charge. We have also extended these services to send remembrances and to pass on other important messages. To successfully and timely render these services please provide all of the following necessary details in a timely manner. Should you have any question(s) please do not hesitate to contact us via "info@tamilthakaval.org".
Requirements from the Informant (Obituary/Remembrance)
- Your home phone number
- Alternate phone number for convenience of contact
- Your full name and mailing address
- Death certificate of the deceased
- Photograph of the deceased (If not available we will affix a flower by default)
- Well composed comprehensive details of the deceased. (No limitation on words but expected to be brief and precise)
How to Send
- For your convenience we have included a template page to type your message. You can attach a scanned photo and the certificate of death along with your details.
- Alternatively, you may choose to send a legible hand-written message, certificate of death and Photograph all scanned and sent as attachments via the email “info@tamilthkaval.org” along with your detail.
Terms and Conditions
- You are solely responsible for all the information that you have provide to us.
- If the message is illegible or unclear or if we have any difficulty in confirming the details, then we have the right to reject and not accept the message for posting.
- If there is a discrepancy or doubt in the clarity of the message, we may request additional clarification to be provided by you.
- We may include information provider’s telephone number and address
- We will not include any other forms of advertisements, website links and/or emails in the “Important Messages Section”
- You may have to bear with us for any unforeseen technical delays.
