Mr. Verakathiyar Nadarajah Somasundaram (Former Master and Retired Chief Clark, Jaffna M C), who was born in Meesalai, Jaffna and resided in Canada, passed away and reached the Lord at around 9:00 PM on Tuesday, May 12, 2020.
He is the beloved son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nadarajah (Teacher and Ayurvedic Doctor) and Valliammai,
Beloved husband of the late Saraswathi (former Teacher at Chavakacheri Hindu College),
Loving son in law of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nadesapillai and Annammah,
Loving brother of the late Paramanantham, Kulasegaram and Vaithiyanathan,
Loving father of Srimurugan, Srikanthan, Velummayilum, Shanthini, Srikathirgamanathan, and Nalayini,
Loving father in law of Parameswary, Kalanithi, Rajananthini, Sriganeshan, Ranjani, and Gnanachandran,
Affectionate grandfather of Prakash, Dharshini, Shemila, Premila, Sharmila, Sriharan, Rajikala,
Senthuran, Sinthuja, Narmathan, Mithun, Thulasi, Abira, Gayathri, Krishanth, and Anoj,
Loving great grandfather of Harishman, Ajishman, Harish, Sriram, Saathana, Saravanan,
Thurihan, Kavinila, Aruvikan, Aran, Niran, Karthik, Arjun, and Nayani.
Funeral Rites and Cremation:-
Funeral service and final rites will be held on Thursday May 14, 2020, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Avenue, Markham, ON, followed by Cremation
at 4:30 PM.
Due to the current unprecedented situation only family members will participate.
